About Me

Jonathan Tang is the Clinical Laboratory Manager at California Dermatology and Mohs Surgery Specialists and has served the Greater Los Angeles region as a Mohs histotechnician and consultant since 2019. Early in his career, he conducted research under the mentorship of Dr. Teo Soleymani at the University of California, Los Angeles, contributing to the integration of intraoperative immunostaining techniques for complex and high-risk skin cancers.

A frequent national lecturer, Jonathan presents on Mohs histology, laboratory quality, and advanced frozen section techniques. He remains actively involved in the Mohs histology community and is the Founder of Mohs Tech Edu, LLC, where he provides consulting and education focused on advancing technical excellence, laboratory efficiency, and best practices in Mohs histology.
